Bad day for Draco Team despite the good collective test yesterday, with Berthon 2nd in overall standings, which envisaged a good race. "These are the races" we may say, as so often hears in the paddock.

In qualifying the French driver of Draco hit and he has had therefore start to the last position. At the start of race 1, Berthon recovers quickly but then he touches Kunimoto and, with the damaged car, he must return to the pits. Similar fate for his team-mate Julian Leal who retires after a contact with Leo. A race to forget then that does not prevent the development of tomorrow because the drivers will carry out a new round of qualifying at 9:15 that will determine the starting order for the second race of the weekend, live on Eurosport 2 at 13.04.

The weekend at the Hungaroring is concluded today with Race 2. Draco Drivers recover some positions with a fast Pit Stop: Berthon 13°, Leal 16°

Last day of race for the circus of World Series Renault in the Hungaroring weekend, the Hungarian circuit on the outskirts of Budapest. This morning there were the second qualifying to determine the starting order for Race 2. Nathanael Berthon started in row 9 in front of his teammate Julian Leal, in 10th. After a good start, both Draco drivers decided to do the pit stop in the early laps available in order to recover positions during the turmoil of pit stops.

The speed and quickness of the Draco mechanical made sure that the drivers back on track quickly catching up in the standings. The race ended with a red flag with two laps from the finish with Berthon 13° and Leal 16°.

The World Series Renault stops for the summer months now and the next meeting is scheduled for the seventh stage in early September in the German circuit of Hockenheim.
