Participants in these races must wear a safe rider’s outfit, riding boots and a helmet. The motor cycles that are use can be individually owned sport bikes but should be in good condition. The front and rear lights with signal lighting should be either removed with the mirrors during race participation or should have tank tape applied to them. The side and main stand of the motorcycle also need to be removed. The throttle needs to be self closing and all the tubing that carries the oil, coolant and wires need to be clipped on for safety at either ends. Supercharging systems on the bikes are not allowed. Turbo charging is allowed so long as it is company fitted and comes with the bike. Nitrous oxide systems are strictly not allowed. All bike need to be checked by the tech inspector before the race. The race riders should have a racing license and should fill in the entry form to participate in the competition. The age groups for the competition are from the ages of 16 to 21 and 21 and above. The numbers assigned to the riders should be clearly printed on the front of the bike. The flags used in these races signify the following: Green flag: indicates the start of the race. Checkered flag: signifies the end of the race session. Red Flag: Implying that the race has been stopped The races are usually about 60 km and take place on the road as well as on track. The longest motor circuit in Denmark is Padborg Park, which is used for motorcycle testing and also race events three days a week. It has a 2.1Km long track, which is 12 feet wide with four right turns and five left turns. |
